The labor intensity of construction management

There are a lot of angles in construction, and even though many people are inclined towards the job of a construction manager, it is not quite as easy as it’s cracked up to be. You may be thinking about taking up a job in construction, which is great, it does have its perks, but it won’t be a walk in the park. If you are not the building type, but you have some top shelf management experience, then you may just as easily pass off as a site manager. But, before you get into it, there are a few things that you ought to know;

 A construction site is an entirely different ball game, you may have experience with other elements, but this kind of site can get real confusing, real fast! Your main role, as the C.M, is to bring in the project manager, the architect and the construction worker to all function as a unit.

 You need to establish a system-let them punch in a timer if you have, just ensure that you know who is doing what, where and at what time. Ensure that there are no extras that have no business at the site, this will help prevent overcrowding, and it will make everything go much smoother.
